Have opted for early retirement recently from the services of a Tata organization just to devote full time in the field of acting. Languages known: Read, write and speak fluently in Bengali, English and Hindi. Knows Driving and have two and four wheeler driving licenses. Knows swimming. Acting since Childhood, was an active member of reputed Theater Group, “ Theatre Centre”, Bhawanipore, Kolkata, founded by Academy winner Tarun Roy. Winner of various recitations, reading of a speech competitions and was awarded best actor in various drama competitions. Acted in major roles in various popular plays produced by Theater Centre and directed by Debraj Roy/Anuradha Roy/Bodhisatwa Majumder/Aparup Ganguly. Stage performances under direction of Paran Bandopadhyay, Dwijen Bandopadhyay, Sovanlal Mukhopadhaya, Amar Mukherjee. Acted as hero in Commercial /Group Theater against Rupa Ganguly, Irani Mukherjee, Jayashree Mukherjee, Mousumi Saha and Manasi Sinha. Acted with renowned artists like Debraj Roy, Anuradha Roy, Bodhisatwa Mazumder, Sumita Sannyal, Bimal Deb, George Beaker, Dolon Roy etc. Acted in TV serials directed by Shomit Bhanjo, Khokon Mukherjee, Dhritiman Sen etc. Acted in Feature Films in major roles, directed by Narayan Ghosh, Shomit Bhanja, Swapan Saha and others and have experience in acting with Shubhendu Chatterjee, Lily Chakraborty, Haradhan Bandopadhyay, Dulal Lahiri, Anuradha Roy, Shomit Bhanja, Shatabdi Roy, Indrani Dutta, Shankar Chakraborty, Anup Kumar, Kushal Chakraborty, Bhaskar Banerjee etc
